If you’ve taken a stroll on Miracle Mile recently, you’ve likely seen Miami’s most pampered dogs parading around in shaded strollers. Soon, you’ll see them making ATM withdrawals, too.

On Friday, October 10, TD Bank is rolling out Florida’s very first Dog ATM (cleverly standing for “Automated Treat Machine”) at its newly revamped Miracle Mile location in Coral Gables, at 2401 Ponce de Leon Blvd.

Perhaps it makes sense that a city in the gold digger capital of the U.S. even has ATMs for pets. But instead of debit cards and PIN numbers, this pup-friendly contraption is operated by wagging tails and wet noses. The machine looks just like a standard ATM, but instead of cash, it dispenses dog treats when a furry customer steps on a paw-print mat. A motion sensor detects the pooch and drops the snack into a little tray.

An October 10 launch party, running from 1 to 4 p.m., is packed with activities for pet owners and their pups. You’ll get watercolor portraits of your pet, custom dog cookies from national grooming and treat chain Woof Gang Bakery, pup-accinos, TD-branded giveaways, desserts by Fireman Derek’s, and an adopt-a-dog station with the Humane Society of Greater Miami.

For TD Bank, this isn’t a gimmick. The brand has long leaned into being dog-friendly, with biscuits at teller windows and bowls of water at locations across the country.

“Dogs already associate the bank with treats,” Nick Miceli, TD’s regional president for Metro Florida, tells New Times. “This just takes it to the next level.” He added that Coral Gables was a natural choice for Florida’s first dog ATM because of its walkable, pet-friendly environment and the bank’s recent investment in its new next-gen store there.

The dog ATM concept debuted in Philadelphia last year and was a hit big enough to roll out nationwide. By the end of 2025, 14 more Dog ATMs are expected to pop up from Maine to Florida. Later this month, Sarasota will fetch the second Sunshine State location, with more wag-worthy stops in Boston and New York after that.

And, no, you don’t need to be a TD customer to let your pup cash in. Anyone strolling Miracle Mile with a four-legged sidekick is welcome to withdraw from the ATM.

Dog ATM Launch Party. 1 p.m. Friday, October 10, at TD Bank Coral Gables, 2401 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables; 305-448-8995; td.com. Admission is free.
