This year, Michelle Bernstein can cook your Thanksgiving turkey.
For the first time in her career, the James Beard Award-winning chef will offer entire holiday dinners to-go from her Design District restaurant, Crumb on Parchment.
“Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it’s all about the food,” Bernstein says. “The smell of roasting turkeys, my juicy stuffing, all the flavors I love to infuse into every little bite. I consider it all little gifts that I put into the recipes that I’ve been perfecting for years.”
The chef’s meal costs $225 and can feed a family of eight. It includes a 15- to 18-pound herb-roasted turkey, chicken apple sausage stuffing, home-style gravy, orange and candied ginger cranberry sauce, and two sides. Choose from roasted root vegetables, creamy kale with crispy shallots, green beans almondine, and mixed baby lettuce salad with butternut squash, pepitas, and feta cheese.
There’s dessert too. The price includes one pie: apple, pumpkin, or pecan.
It sounds like a hefty meal. The price isn’t bad either. The price per person is about 28 bucks — an amount that’s not too far from Epicure Market’s popular $199 meal for ten.
Plus, this dinner comes with a bonus. It’s cooked by one of Miami’s leading chefs.
Place your orders for Michelle Bernstein’s Thanksgiving dinners at Crumb on Parchment in the Design District. Orders must be placed by Friday, November 22. The price is $225 plus tax.
