We’ve learned so much more since we posted the trailer for Dostana, the first Bollywood feature to be shot entirely in Miami: It’s faux-homosexual content makes it something of a revolution for Indian culture (it is their Brokeback Mountain, kinda), it’s on track to being a blockbuster, and apparently the Greater Miami tourism bureau is pleased as pancakes with the idea that it might double as an effective commercial for tourism. Oh, and also there actually are singin’ and dancin’ number, whoops (seriously though, how could a culture that has dance numbers in just about every movie not have had one gay story line on screen before?) Anyway, prepare for the incoming avalanche of gay Indian tourism!
