It’s fall, so the annual pumpkin smorgasbord has officially begun. But honestly, much better than your standard Pumpkin Spice Latte or pumpkin-flavored cupcake is some spicy, pumpkin-infused booze. Because everything’s better with booze.

And at the Aloft Miami Brickell‘s w xyz bar they’re serving up a seasonal treat dubbed the Southfork that has pumpkin, maple syrup and cinnamon all in one. Oh, and Jim Beam, too. Doesn’t get much more autumny than that. Check out the recipe after the jump.

In a shaker add Jim Beam, pumpkin pie mix, maple syrup, lemon juice and ice. Shake vigorously to break up and incorporate pumpkin into the mix. Strain into lowball glass over ice. Garnish with cinnamon stick and dash of nutmeg.

The hotel’s hip w xyz bar recently launched a new happy hour with half-price cocktails Monday through Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. In addition to the Southfork, they’ve got other signature concoctions like the Brown Eyed Girl (Bacardi Rum, pear mix, pineapple juice and rock candy) and the L.A. Kiwi (Cachaca, Stirrings Margarita Mix, muddled lime and kiwi) going for half off their normal $10-12 price.

Sweet, potent deal, no doubt.
