Reader support matters more than ever

Lately, it seems Miami Beach restaurants are venturing into new territory on the other side causeway. Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Primo Pizza, La Sandwicherie, Half Moon Empanadas, Miss Yip, and Jimmy’z Kitchen are just a few of those who have migrated west.
Joining the group is Española Way mainstay, Tapas y Tintos. While we don’t expect it to be as lively as its South Beach counterpart, the midtown locale on Northeast Second Avenue brings the much-beloved sangria and tasty tapas to the Biscayne corridor.
Isn’t that reason enough to celebrate? Tapas y Tintos surely thinks so, as tonight it’s celebrating Spanish Carnival-style with complimentary sangria, tapas, and paella, all made by executive chef Fernando Andres, from 8 to 10 p.m. The party keeps going until midnight when with all tapas and drinks being two-for-one after 10.
Party will also feature flamenco dancers, fire jugglers, and a performance by rock en español band Mundos Unidos.
