Happy Monday, Miamians. This week brings plenty of events, and the best part is they’re all free.
Monday
- Memorial Day in Miami: The forecast predicts sunny skies, so grab your beach towel, some sunscreen, and head to the closest shoreline.
- Yoga at Bayfront Park: At 6:15 p.m., downward dog your way through a complimentary yoga class at the Southeast Financial Center Plaza.
Tuesday
- Ecuador Relief Fest at Churchill’s: Bring nonperishable food like canned goods or grains and watch live performances by Optional, Adam Matza, Unity Rise, The Indigos, and more during Churchill’s Ecuador Relief Fest. The event will collect aid for victims of the April 16 quake.
- Fitness Class at W Hotel: At 9 a.m., South Beach Fit Camp hosts boot-camp classes on the beach next to the W Hotel.
Wednesday
- Free Words in Lobby Lounge at Olympia Theater: Get a tour of the space and listen to lyrical readings at Olympia Theater’s monthly Lobby Lounge series.
- Studio Crawl at ArtCenter: Roam the studio’s building, talk with artists, and view current exhibitions, all from 7 to 10 p.m.
Thursday
- First Thursdays at Pérez Art Museum Miami: From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., snag free admission.
- Leica Lounge at Leica Miami: Come out to Leica’s monthly lecture series, which features presentations by local photographers, editors, gallerists, and educators.
Friday
- Hialeah Art Walk at Milander Center for Arts and Entertainment: Stroll through the park where dozens of artworks will be on display from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Coral Gables Gallery Night in Coral Gables: Use a free trolley to visit the city’s galleries. Some even offer free wine.
- Batuke Samba Funk at Miami Beach: It’s Friday Night Live on the beach and this month Batuke Samba Funk will perform at the Normandy Fountain on Normandy Drive at 71st Street. Concerts run between 6 and 9 p.m.
