Fountain Miami, a mini-fair that debuted in 2006, will be back again. The fair will feature instillation from five American galleries including Glowlab, The Leo Kesting gallery, Open Ground, Yum Yum Factory (all based in New York) and Miami’s own Radau. Fountain calls itself “a guerrilla-style art event – under the radar, independent and highly influential,” and its name is a nod to DuChamp’s infamous sculpture. The event will be held at 2505 North Miami Ave from Dec. 3-7, with a suggested donation of $5. The exhibition space is about 8000 square-foot complex, and with only 5 galleries exhibiting expect large installations.
