For some reason, George Zimmerman is in Texas right now speeding down the roads with a gun in his car. Yes, seriously. TMZ reports he was pulled over for speeding by police in Forney, Texas, on Sunday.
Asked where he was headed, Zimmerman replied, “Nowhere in particular.”
He then told police that he had a firearm in his glove compartment, but remember this is in Texas, so that’s nothing particularly out of the ordinary.
Police determined he had no outstanding warrants and let him off with only a warning.
The most important part of this story is that at this moment, Florida is 100 percent George Zimmerman-free. No word on exactly what Zimmerman is doing in Texas, but we wish him a long and happy stay.
