Three FIU students have tested positive for the H1N1 virus, AKA swine flu. Six others have shown symptoms.  

Oscar Loynaz, interim director of University Health Services, says a dozen cases have been confirmed in the school’s community since the epidemic began. None appears to be potentially life-threatening. 
Most of the affected students live on campus, and though they’re not under quarantine, the school has asked them to take precautions while receiving treatment.
