By far the easiest “recession” story to write is finding weird, desperate postings on Craigslist. As if there aren’t weird, desperate postings on Craigslist even in good economic times.
That’s just what MSNBC did, and they found a lady in Miami looking to trade a couple of hours of — ahem — “body rubs” for either the services of a compassionate dentist specializing in veneers or a plastic surgeon offering free lipo.
We couldn’t find the posts on Craigslist, but we believe it. Too bad the listing was pulled, though, because we know so many doctors looking for body rubs from ladies who think they have bad teeth and love handles.
