Frequently featured in New Times’ pages as the Meatist, Bradford “Bone in the Fan” Schmidt has left the oh-so-quiet confines of Spring Break season here in South Florida for the silence that is South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. Opposite. As a two-time attendee, I can confirm that the clusterscrew of a music festival is a load of fun, but there are few things in life (aside from perhaps the Winter Music Conference) that will leave a body more beaten.
