Twenty-two-year-old Quentin Wyche has surrendered to police for the on-campus stabbing death of Florida International University football star Kendall Berry.
Wyche had spent a few days on the football team as a walk-on before being let go. He also worked in Berry’s dormitory. Reportedly, the two got into an altercation Thursday night after Wyche bothered Berry’s girlfriend and threw cookies in her face.
Now the Miami Herald is reporting that after Wyche fatally stabbed Berry outside of a campus rec center, he taunted his victim.

“That’s what he gets… I told y’all,” he yelled, according to witnesses.
Wyche is charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.
