Each year, we at New Times get together at our annual Iron Fork event, give our stomachs a pep talk, and get ready to stuff as much food as possible into ourselves.
The annual event, which will take place this year at the Hyatt Regency, features food from almost 100 of Miami’s best restaurants, but this year’s event is about more than just the food.
Prism Music Group, Iron Fork’s official entertainment sponsor, will be providing a gaggle of local talent, including four-piece Miami rockers Aura the Band, Jahzel Dotel, and Scratch Academy’s DJ

With some help from the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Iron Fork’s Heritage Neighborhood Area will return, featuring artists, restaurants and entertainers from historic Miami neighborhoods Little Havana, Little Haiti, West Coconut Grove, and Overtown. The purpose of the Heritage Neighborhood Area is to provide guests with the tastes and sounds of each of these one-of-a-kind Miami neighborhoods.
The headliners of the Heritage Area will be Miami latin favorites Suénalo. The eight-piece Magic City jam band describes its music as Afro-Latin-Baby-Makin’-

That combined with Iron Fork’s oyster-filled Shuck It competition is sure to make for one sensually stuffing night.
After you’ve had your fill of ocean-harvested aphrodisiacs, you can keep the party going at Iron Fork’s official after party at Touché Restaurant and E11even Rooftop Lounge. Complimentary shuttles via the E11even Miami Party Bus begin running at 9:45 p.m. to the rooftop dining and entertainment destination, where Anna Palmerola and DJ Wasabi will keep the party rolling all the way until sunrise. The full-service kitchen will turn out eats all night long, and your Iron Fork wristband gets you free admission to E11even Miami on the first floor.
