What makes a party America’s Best Party? We’re not entirely sure, but if you have a strong desire to give show some hometown love, Miami’s own Poplife is nominated for the title in Paper Magazine’s Fifth Annual Nightlife Awards. The uber-hipster publication has pitted the party against other hipster nights across the United States including Mr. Black at Bardot Hollywood, San Francisco’s Honey Soundsystem at Paradise Lounge, and Chicago’s Rehab at Debonair Social Club.

The other categories, including Best Club, Best Bar, and Best DJ, focus entirely on New York’s nightlife scene, which, let’s face it, is as relevant as South Beach’s nightlife culture is these days.

Anyway, don’t waste any time and vote now if only to inflate the city’s pride for a meaningless title.
