The annual Best of the Best concert has always been one of the crowning events of Memorial Day Weekend in Miami, and this year’s edition, held yesterday at Bicentennial Park, kept the momentum going. While the lineup of course featured the best in contemporary dancehall and reggae, this year’s version was more diverse than in years past, featuring soca artists like Machel Montano, along with some of the leading lights of the current rap landscape. Among the huge stars rolling through from the latter camp were Flo Rida, Rick Ross, Diddy, Nicki Minaj.
