Lots of expensive Mother’s Day “deals” are being reported on Short Order and elsewhere, but here is an actual bargain:
D. Rodriguez Cuba will be offering up a 3-course brunch with choice of items such as Torrejas, a Latin-style french toast, or a signature Latin Benedict. Unlimited Sangria will be poured, and the price is just $29. Brunch is Sunday, May 9th, from noon to 5:00 p.m.

Just one minor, disturbing note: D-Rod’s jacket says El Jefe, the same moniker that MNT Editor Chuck Strouse goes by. We may need to set up a duel to determine who the real Jefe is.
