The tabloids have been predicting it for years. But finally, after seven years of wedded whatever, Jennifer Lopez and Mr. Jennifer Lopez (uh, we mean Marc Anthony) are getting a divorce.
Now while Crossfade wouldn’t usually care about the marital drama between a couple of serial celebrity wedders (Lopez has been married thrice and Anthony twice), this split means the death of one of Miami’s power couples.
In a joint statement sent to People Magazine, J-Lo and Skeletor (uh, we mean Marc Anthony) explained: “We have decided to end our marriage.”
“This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters,” they blah, blah, blahed before concluding. “It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
Of course, Jenny and Marc, we’ll give you all the space in the world. Just one question: Can we get your his-and-hers Dolphins season tickets?
