Forget paying your dues as a music blogger, or even majoring in a relevant art like creative writing, breaking into the entertainment industry has never been easier.

MTV Tr3s and Subway are looking for “unique personalities to join Wisin y Yandel on tour” as “guest correspondents” for Lo Que Te Pica, the Spanglish network’s show that combines music videos y “your daily dose of the must know in entertainment talk.”

If we weren’t so committed to snarky commentary, and culturally relevant blog posts, we’d apply to the contest quicker than a bad case of the shits hits following a $5 foot long. But we

For your chance to cover the major musical spectacle that is Wisin y Yandel’s “Los Vaqueros: El Regreso 2011 Tour,” simply answer five softball questions (i.e. what’s your favorite music to listen to? If you can ask Wisin y Yandel just one question, what would it be and why? Why should we pick you?), and submit a recent photo of yourself to subway.tr3s.com.

We’re thankful for you. Are you thankful for us?

We feel thankful for our staff and for the privilege of fulfilling our mission to be an unparalleled source of information and insight in Miami. We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community.
Help us continue giving back to Miami.

$30,000

If producers like what they see (and read), you’ll be asked to send in a video of yourself being cute on camera. Then, with any luck, you’ll be chosen as one of four correspondents to join W&Y at an upcoming show in Miami, LA, Chicago, or Dallas.

At the show, you’ll ask them whatever your little heart desires, unless of course your questions are too controversial for television. In that case, you’ll have to rely on boring shit like “How did you get started in music?” or “What’s it like working with Ricky Martin?”

Good luck, y’all.
