Call it Philippe’s “power hour” or the Raleigh’s “Seven at the Raleigh.” But whatever you call it, call it a good deal on swell drinks and bar bites at two of the Beach’s swankiest restaurants.

We’re thankful for you. Are you thankful for us?

We feel thankful for our staff and for the privilege of fulfilling our mission to be an unparalleled source of information and insight in Miami. We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community.
Help us continue giving back to Miami.

$30,000

At Philippe Chow’s elegant Chinese restaurant, the power of the hour (6 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday) is selected mixological cocktails like the Lychee Martini, Shanghai Philippe and Midnight Mojito (Stoli Blueberry, fresh mint, muddled fresh blueberries, simple syrup, splash of fresh squeezed lime juice and splash of soda) for a paltry $6.

At the hip Martini Bar at the Raleigh, an almost as paltry $7 gets you a variety of cool cocktails, from the classic gin-vermouth-twist beloved of boozy purists to the Ruby Diamon with cachaca, Pama, lychee and lime, as well as uptown snacks and valet parking, all good from 4 to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

The price of swank, it seems, has just gone down.
