Raspberri Tart (Absolut Raspberri, raspberry purée, and fresh lemonade); Frozen Summer Peach (Belvedere vodka, DeKuyper Peachtree schnapps, fresh citrus juices, and peach purée); and the Grill 75 (Grand Marnier and fresh-squeezed lemon juice topped with sparkling wine) are just a few of the new cocktails at the Grill on the Alley in Aventura Mall. The aforementioned drinks go for $9 during happy hour, while Finlandia vodka martinis are $7, beer selections $3.50, and wine by-the-glass $2 below menu price.
“Chef Bites” snacks start at $3.95 (hummus, popcorn shrimp, blue cheese fries); $4.95 brings mini crab cakes, ahi tuna sashimi, chicken potpie, or two mini Kobe burgers with blue cheese. A new section of the Bites bar menu features mini versions of some of the restaurant’s signature entrées, such as Colorado lamb chop with mint mashed potatoes ($8), braised short rib with roasted garlic mashed potatoes ($7), and peppered filet medallion with Roquefort cheese sauce ($9). Something tells me they have to use up some blue cheese fast — maybe before it starts to smell bad.
Happy hour at the Grill on the Alley takes place every weeknight from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
