A while back I wrote about how donuts are the new cupcakes. Well, today you can try out my theory for free. That’s right, in celebration of National Donut Day (what a great holiday!) both Dunkin’ Donuts and Krispy Kreme are giving away complimentary donuts.
You can get a free donut all day at participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations, but there is a catch. You must purchase a beverage to get in on the freebie. At Krispy Kreme, there’s no need to buy anything. Just head over to the nearest South Florida shop and start munching away on your favorite donut. What better way to start the weekend than with a gratis piece of sugary dough?
