Independent Journalism in Miami Needs You
We need to raise $10,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Luna Corner Pizza is the first Miami outpost of an Italian pizzeria that opened in Crema in 1968. They use proprietary oven technology to bake out their pizzas at what is designed to be a grab and go wait-time. We got our two slices no faster than at any other pizza shop we’ve ever been to, and the shop was dead ass empty.
Luna Corner Pizza is currently offering a grand opening special, two slices of pepperoni pizza and a 20-ounce soda for $5.99. Their pies use a special blend of multigrain dough and imported Italian ingredients. If you don’t like wheat bread you might not like their crust. The pizza is not bad, not amazing, but the two-slice special is a pretty good deal, so if you’re on the Upper Eastside in the MiMo district it’s worth checking out.
