I am trying to remember the politics of The Golden Girls. All I recall is that on one episode they were campaigning for some Miami Councilmen or something, and the dirty, dirty press insinuated that Blanche was sleeping with him, but it turned out he was really a FTM transexual. Sounds about right for a local political scandal.
Anyway, you’d think old ladies would vote for the Old Guy/Lady ’08 ticket, but Betty White is in the tank for Obama as evidenced by her recent appearance on The Late Late Show. Basically, Betty is down with the swirl, and playfully ribs McCain for being an old, even if she is 14 years his senior.
