Over the past few months, LeBron James had been praising UConn star Shabazz Napier on Twitter. Shortly before the NBA Draft, LeBron declared that point guard was his favorite player in the draft. Then the Miami Heat went and drafted him, causing some to think it was all part of a plan to keep James in South Beach.
Well, James went back to Cleveland anyway, and Napier has now apparently responded by unfollowing James on Twitter and deleting all the tweets he had made mentioning him. Seems pretty standard for a 23 year-old.
Napier joined Twitter shortly after being drafted, and the first person he followed was King James.
And now he’s unfollowed James, and deleted any tweets mentioning him according to Bleacher Report.
Napier, AKA @ShabazzNapier, is following the official @MiamiHeat twitter but hasn’t bothered to follow any of his other new teammates, including Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, either.
Man, millennials are so dramatic with their social media.
