Kitchen Party is an intimate underground dance party based on the concept that a good house party always seems to end up in the kitchen. Founded by London-based DJ Brian Monaco in 2007, KP evolved from a literal house party for an intimate group of music-lovers congregating around a kitchen in North London, to the “Out of the Kitchen” sessions, an international club night specializing in the finest and most forward-thinking contemporary house and techno. Past KP parties have showcased top talent from some of the most esteemed international EDM labels, including Christian Martin (Dirtybird), Giles Smith (Secretsundaze), Will Saul (Simple), Reboot (Cadenza), King Roc (Dessous), and Berkson & What (Poker Flat). Saturday night brings “Out of the Kitchen” to Grass lounge in the Design District, where KP resident Brian Monaco will be throwing down with Japan-based DJ Craig Schaffran, and local favorite Inbal, of former Retox Wednesdays at Blue and Electric Pickle.

Kitchen Party at Grass. Saturday, January 30, 10 p.m.-6 a.m. $10 cover. Grass Lounge. 28 NE 40th St,
