Poor Sorel Rockfeller. The Fontainebleau parking attendant who got bitch-slapped by a drunk 42-year-old woman has apparently lost his ability to enjoy life. TMZ has obtained Sorel’s lawsuit against Gloria James, LeBron’s mom, after she slapped him following an early-morning disagreement at the Miami Beach hotel. He’s seeking $15,000 (which, well, is at least a restrained amount).
You can read the suit in full here, but Sorel (who was previously identified as Sorel Rockfeller, but is referred to in the documents as Rock Feller Sorel) claims James’s actions caused damages including “bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, emotional distress, humiliation, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life, expense of medical care and treatment, loss of earning, and loss of ability to earn money.”
The document doesn’t explain how Sorel lost his ability to enjoy life or earn money. He did, apparently, voluntarily quit his job. There are also still questions about whether surveillance footage showed Sorel intentionally bumping James. However, his lawyer claims James called the valet a “fucking n*****.”
Given all of that, though, we wouldn’t be surprised if the civil suit is quickly settled.
