Saturday’s Grand Tasting Village at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival saw thousands of people flock to Miami Beach’s white sands to sip wine, mingle with the likes of Martha Stewart, Emeril Lagasse, and Rachael Ray, and chow down on some of the best bites they’ve ever had from 40 of the finest restaurants in town — each outdoing each other to compete for the coveted Miami New Times Short Order’s Best Bite on the Beach award.

The award is chosen by GTV attendees, who vote for their favorite food via text.

The votes have been tabulated and Saturday’s winning restaurant is American Social. The Fort Lauderdale restaurant is well known for its good food and extensive craft beer offerings.
