$7,500

In beer pong, there are no losers. Either you win the game or you’re so drunk you don’t notice. That’s one of many reasons this barroom ball game is one of the best sports ever. And in tribute to our fave recreational activity, Miami New Times and Whiskey Joe’s are launching a beer pong tourney series starting Friday night.
Teams of two die-hard, beer-guzzling competitors will go head-to-head, bracket-style, with the top two teams of the evening scoring a cash prize. Beer, provided by hipster fave Pabst Blue Ribbon, is part of the deal, so dehydration won’t be an issue. The winning team from each monthly event will get a spot in the finals April 25, and the finals winner will score $1,000. Not a bad deal for drinking beer and bouncing a ball.
Let’s face it — with your college football career years behind you, this is as close as you’ll get to athletic glory. Go claim your prize.
