After a week of heavy Baseling, you’ll need something to bring you back to life. For that, FIU’s Jewish Museum of Florida (301 Washington Ave., Miami Beach) offers its Basel, Lox and Cream Cheese Annual Brunch this Sunday.

Feast on a Jewish spread that includes catered bagels, tuna, egg salad, lox, and cream cheese. But the real draw here is a lecture by one of South Florida’s top designers: Stuart Geller of Geller Design Group. For the past three decades, Geller has shown art aficionados how to make their space adaptable to their art and vice versa. The lecture — dubbed “Which Comes First… the Art or the Design?” — is in conjunction with JMOF-FIU’s current exhibit, “The Chosen.”

Are you just beginning to collect art or live in a home with minimal wall space and you’re not sure how to go about incorporating your pieces? Geller wants to give you advice on working with art designers and how to make the most out of your space. The presentation and brunch take place Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon, leaving you the rest of day to Basel. Cost is $18 for JMOF-FIU members and $25 for nonmembers. RSVP by emailing info@jewishmuseum.com or calling 786-972-3175. Visit jewishmuseum.com.
