$7,500

If you had it your way, man’s best friend would be by your side 24/7 — at work, at the gym. Hell, he’d even be twerking with you at the club. Sadly, our society frowns on too much canine company, and you’re forced to leave your best bud home alone most of the time.
But lucky for humans with fur-kids, every dog’s leg-twitching, territory-marking, tree-sniffing dream — Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden (10901 Old Cutler Rd., Coral Gables) — opens its doors to doggies on special occasions. This Sunday is one such day — a Dog Day, to be precise. You can take your poochy partner in crime to explore every corner of the 83-acre oasis. Watch her chase (but hopefully not catch) a brightly hued butterfly. Sprawl out on the grass together and catch some rays. Stroll alongside the Madagascar Spiny Forest, and maybe stop to take a leak (him, not you).
What dog wouldn’t be into all of the above?
