After the mania of Art Basel week, some Miamians might never want to see a piece of artwork again. But for those who want to take baby steps back into the art world, the Bass Museum of Art’s Fridays at the Bass series offers educational and creative tools for self-expression.
Puerto Rican artist and Wynwood resident Hector Maldonado will lead a drawing class at 7 p.m. this Friday. Maldonado, whose work was showcased at Red Dot Art Fair during Art Basel, will instruct participants on sketching a live nude model, with a specific area of study emphasized — torso, arms, legs, etc.

Fri., Dec. 20, 7 p.m., 2013
