Just as Big Boi was finally getting off the hook for trying to fly with a mountain of ecstasy, and, er, Viagra …. Another big-name hip-hopper is behind bars for possession of a controlled substance.
The rapper? None other than barely-old-enough-to-drink proto-#swag spitte Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em.
And the substance? Some good ol’ fashioned sticky icky.
TMZ reports that Soulja Boy (AKA DeAndre Cortez Way) was arrested at 3:48 a.m. by Temple, Georgia police officers.
Soulja and four friends were going for a late night joyride when the cops stopped them for an unstated traffic violation. When the police searched the vehicle they found “a substantial amount” of marijuana and $70,000 of cold hard cash.
WTF Soulja Boy?!?
