Booze has been the ultimate creative lubricant since, well, ever. There’s no better way to bring out a left-brainer’s artsy side than with a couple of drinks. And at the Painting and Cocktails shindig this Wednesday at the Broken Shaker (2727 Indian Creek Dr., Miami Beach), you can get your creative juices flowing with a little liquid stimulation.
At this artsy meet-and-mingle, you’ll score your own canvas on which to re-create an iconic Miami Beach scene. The folks from Bottle and Bottega will supply all the tools, so no need to raid your kid’s arts-and-crafts closet or spend a fortune at Michael’s. Just focus on your burgeoning work of art while sipping one of the bar’s epic cocktails — think infusions, homemade syrups, fresh herbs, and garden-grown goodness.
Getting buzzed and painting a masterpiece is a good way to spend Hump Day. Van Gogh would approve.
