Halloween’s a holiday that seems concocted by the pagan gods just for Miami: a dash of exhibitionism, a touch of erotica, and a hint of danger. And what better place to celebrate than at that temple of Miami luxury and old-world opulence Vizcaya Museum and Gardens?
For the 23rd year in a row, the only place to be this Saturday between 8 p.m. and midnight is at the Halloween Bash thrown by Vizcaya’s Young Professionals group. Expect upwards of 2,000 beautiful people strutting around in some sexy combination of masked and naked, but unlike in Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, this masquarade is for a good cause—the preservation of Vizcaya’s historic Venetian-style grounds. Your $100 ticket also gets you a premium open bar, two dancefloors, a food court, a costume contest, and a place among Miami’s A-List…for one night at least.
