New York-based contemporary artist and BMX bike enthusiast Ryan Humphrey is bringing his “Fast Forward” exhibit to the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood. Set against a backdrop of crisscrossing bike ramps, the main draw is a large-scale, floor-to-ceiling installation featuring BMX bikes protruding from the gallery wall. The show also includes bike-inspired paintings, a wrap-around rug, and three interpretations of Marcel Duchamp’s Bicycle Wheel. A local group of bike riders known as the South Florida Old School BMX Faction will also present a display of vintage bikes and screen the BMX documentary Joe Kid on a Stingray, directed by Mark Eaton. Hurry up and catch “Fast Forward,” which will be on display through August 14.

Tuesdays-Sundays, 10 a.m. Starts: June 29. Continues through Aug. 14, 2011
