Take to the streets this Thursday night for the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam on South Beach, and you can spend the night with Rihanna, singer Justin Bieber, and legions of other fans. The two young performers (that Bieber fella is only 15) will headline the first night of this official Super Bowl block party, which is sponsored by Pepsi and VH1. The second night will feature performances by Nelly Furtado, Pitbull, and Paulina Rubio.
Rihanna, who won the 2008 Grammy for best Rap/Sung Collaboration, has gone platinum multiple times and last year released her fourth album, Rated R; tween popster Justin Bieber dropped his first album, My World, last year. If you want to attend the concert, you must reserve the almost-free tickets through Ticketmaster for a $1.25 convenience fee.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $16,750 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
