According to pseudo-science, Nibiru is the 12th planet, if you count all eight planets plus Pluto, the sun, and the moon. It reaches the inner solar system every 3,600 years, but luckily, Miami won’t have to wait that long. Dubstep artist 12th Planet will return to White Room just two months after his last local gig.
Dubstep is making heavy inroads in Miami, a city synonymous with bass. The last time 12th Planet hit White Room, for the Annie Mac showcase during Winter Music Conference, it went into the books as one of the best events of the music-packed week. If that event is any indication, this big-time producer will make believers out of even the staunchest skeptics. He carries more gravity than any made-up planet, that is, unless you’re Tom Cruise. He’ll play this Saturday’s Arcade, a party presented by Embrace and Overthrow (led by hipster mythologist Alexis Mincolla).
