Just as the first robin is a cheesy, Disney-style sign that spring has arrived, since 2004, horror fans have known Halloween is just around the corner by the release of another movie in the Saw franchise. Could have sworn the main villain was killed off in Saw IV, but as long as moviegoers keep watching ’em (to the tune of more than $668 million worldwide in box office sales), Hollywood will just keep making ’em. And this Friday, Mansion will host the release party for the latest in the series, Saw VI, as part of the nightclub’s House of Jigsaw Halloween Weekend.
DJ Irie will spin Mansion’s usual We Rock Hip Hop Friday jams. Advance tickets cost $15 from mansionmiami.com, or $40 and up at the door, which opens at 10 p.m.
