Imagine a place where bouquets and garters are thrown on the hour, every hour. Where the cake isn’t a cake without an inch-thick layer of rubbery fondant, and a broken record is playing “You may now kiss the bride, you may now kiss the bride, you may….” It might sound like bridezilla hell, but it’s just the Signature Gardens Bridal & Quince Show. Don’t worry — it’s only today, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Though there will be an open bar, wedding cake displays, hors d’oeuvres, and bridal fashion expos, there will be no garters or bouquets being chucked into a crowd today. Oh, and there is no broken record, just singer-songwriter David Martin, who will croon a tune so beautiful it’ll make you forget how much the wedding is going to cost you.
Wed., June 27, 7-10 p.m.
