Think roots in the city and the image of some huge-ass weed growing out of a crack in the sidewalk probably comes to mind. Think Roots in the City Farmers Market and the image of wholesome, locally grown food made available to folks not born with an American Express Centurion card in their mouths is more like it. Miami’s only farmer-operated market kicks off this season on Wednesday, Dec. 8, and will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. every Wednesday and Friday until early 2011. Put down some roots.
