Night after night, they fight it out in the war over your hard-earned dollars, but today and tomorrow, April 15, the sexiest servers from some of South Beach’s most popular clubs, restaurants, bars, and hotels will be fighting a different kind of battle. This weekend is the third annual Beach Ball Festival, and that means that you can watch your favorite barmaid from Wet Willie’s spike a volleyball down the throat of that bitchy server from Big Pink that refused to give you extra mayo.
Of course it’s just a game, but when the boys and girls of establishments like INK, Tantra, Skybar, and the Victor go head to head, the competition has been known to get a little thick. Add to that the sounds of pink-haired “Caught Out There” singer Kelis, and you’ve got yourself a death match waiting to happen. The cutthroat fun takes place on the sand today and tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. at Eighth Street and Ocean Drive.
