For everything she has done for us — from giving birth to dealing with tantrums (as toddlers and teens) to cooking thousands of tasty meals — Mom really deserves more than one special day each year. Chef Carmen Gonzalez agrees and is celebrating Mother’s Day Week at Carmen the Restaurant. Tonight you can enjoy complimentary Bacardi cocktails and a musical performance by the Miami Beach Chamber Ensemble at a special Garden Party from 7:00 to 9:00. Admission is free, but a three-course menu (priced at $38 per person, plus tax and gratuities) is also available for those who wish to stay for dinner. As a bonus, anyone making Mother’s Day reservations while attending tonight’s party will receive a ten percent discount on that day’s bill.
