Sure you used to have a lot of things in common, but now you’re just the same. (At least that’s what Wilco tells us in the song “Pick Up the Change.”) Maybe you two just need to add a new twist to your routine. In today’s Partner/Couples Yoga with Pam Walker, you can learn movement and breathing techniques with your partner and create an energy that promotes wholeness and wellness. “You work in tandem with another individual by coordinating breathing, looking into each other’s eyes, and meditating,” says Walker, who has been teaching yoga for four years. So, what if you’re single and fabulous? There’s no need to think one is the loneliest number: “Singles can come and you’ll be partnered with someone,” Walker assures. “We found that the people who come to these courses are all like minded people you will feel comfortable with.” Stretch your way to a new attitude from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Miami. Admission is $15. Call 305-667-3697, or visit www.uumia.org.
