Benji Brown’s skits are classless and vulgar. So of course he’ll have you crying with laughter in two minutes flat. His current show features his most beloved character, Kiki. She’s a caricature of a crazy black girl with a short temper and long gold acrylic nails. Brown, who got his start in Miami, has been on Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza on Comedy Central and toured with Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns. He regularly performs stand-up around South Florida, and he’s going all out for Kiki on the Run. We’re almost scared to think what Brown will pull out this time. Expect satirical skits such as Maury Pobitch, scenes set at local strip club King of Diamonds, and allusions to Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco. Catch Kiki on the Run at the James L. Knight Center this Sunday. There will be a preshow performance by Trina, AKA Ms. Red Bottoms.
