Yes, the Upper Eastside Garden’s Two-Year Anniversary Party should be something worth drinking home about. Musical duo Matt & Kim will perform, Sweat Records’ Lolo Reskin will host, and they will debut a brand-new garden by landscape designer Edwina von Gal, in addition to a new mural by artist Martin Oppel. Matt & Kim will perform, which is sort of like saying, “The White Stripes will perform,” if Jack White played keyboards instead of guitar and didn’t act so surly all the time. Plus there’s always the back-nine putt-putt. All ages are welcome, and free adult beverages will be served to those with IDs dating from at least early 1988.
