$10,000

Freshly suited, booted and ready for a night of debauchery among shrubbery you arrived at 2nd and Collins to find that your favorite club was quiet. Balls of hair weave were rolling down the street and fossilized cigarette butts dotted the concrete in front of what used to be Opium. Be glad that no one was round to see you fall to your knees screaming, “Whyyyyyyy?!” Be glad that the people chowing down curbside at Big Pink were all too drunk to care that you were sobbing like a baby. But, be even more glad that Opium only went on a road trip and has landed at the Seminole Hard Rock. That’s right, the club known for table-hopping, celeb sightings and lemon drop shots is re-opening on Friday and is ready to rock. They’ve left the Garden theme and adopted Swarovski chandeliers, lithographs of Andy Warhol pop art, and baby crocodile fabric sofas.

The sexy French-Asian decor will come alive as 944 Magazine presents Cirque de Soleil style performances each hour, sexy contortionists, and fire-breathing dragon dancers. Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden will man the 1’s and 2’s – you just have to bring a body that’s willing to dance.
