After enjoying a five-year run as an advertising and record-industry photographer in Brazil, Louis Jay moved to Miami’s Design District a decade ago, continued working hard, and has now become one of Miami’s leading advertising photographers. “Lighting a beautiful still life or injecting some humor and emotion into an advertising portrait is always a great challenge,” he observes. He is happy to see his recent series of children’s portraits springing up on Metrozoo posters all over town.
