Juste has been an award-winning photographer for the Miami Herald since 1991. He recently returned from Afghanistan and Pakistan, which he covered for Knight Ridder. Juste is also a leader of the Iris Photo Collective, a group of minority photojournalists who are using their medium to explore and document how people of color relate to the larger world around them.
