Elliot Loves: Dominican-American Elliot Ayende is revealed as both a 9-year-old boy with a “barely keeping-it-together single mom” and a 21-year-old looking for love in the Big Apple. 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, at Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach. This Is What Love in Action Looks Like: This documentary tells the story of a 16-year-old who used social media to inform the world that his parents had placed him in a program to “cure” his homosexuality.
