We’re aiming to raise $7,500 by April 26. Your support ensures Miami New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Collectible, custom creations are number-one vices for most art lovers. The more obscure and displayable, the better. Playing right into that addiction is Leaps & Bounds, a one-of-a-kind, custom model water tower exhibit.
Presented by Elemental in partnership with Yo Miami and Boundless Brooklyn, the show features water towers designed and produced by Boundless Brooklyn, the New York company creating unique, scaled-down replicas of towers and city signs. The towers, made from recyclable materials, are splashed with art from dozens of big-name local artists and out-of-town talents, including Atomik, Claudio Picasso (CP1), Eleazar Delgado, Ernesto Kunde, Evoca1 (Elio Mercado), GG Artwork (Gabriel Gimenez), Kazilla, Alvin Hernandez, and Aquarela Sabol.
The exhibition is open to the public this Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. at Elemental (2399 NW Second Ave., Miami). Call 786-276-5955 or visit elementalstore.com.
